Adaptive device - Adaptive/intelligent bar top- Group work

me and steven have decided to create a new bar top that adapts to each customer. each customer has a card that can be placed anywere on the bar-top and it instantly detects and feeds information to the barman, e.g Age, Picture, Name and top 5 favourate drinks based on what thy have bought. the card adapts to the age of person and the drinking habbits of the owner of each card. the more drinks bought of one type will automaticly be come top of the list.

This will cut time spent at the bar, no need to shout to communicate.

If user wants to buy a round of drinks for friends he takes friends cards and piles them on top of each other to show friends favorite drink with the bill buyer being placed at the bottom.

Pro’s and Cons:

Pro’s:

Cutting time at bar, easier to communicate, remembers each drink bought by customer, updates age to every birth year, no need to ask for ID.

Con’s:

We will need to address how easy it will be to use the cards when the bar is busy, we may have to look at the best way the customer can add more drinks to the round that are not on the card.
